Dr.
John Foote, MD completed his residency training in 2001 at
University of Texas Health
Sciences Center, TX, after graduating
with a Medical Degree from Wake Forest University School of
Medicine in North Carolina. Dr. Foote’s real interest
in sports medicine began after finishing his residency. It
was then that he spent
time as the Chief of Orthopedics at Davis-Monthan Air Force
Base in Tucson, Arizona where he cared for a young athletic
population.
With a newly found interest in sports medicine, Dr. Foote went
on to Lake Tahoe where he enjoyed a fellowship with team physicians
of the United States Olympic Ski and Snowboard Teams.
Dr. Foote is interested in developing a sports medicine program
to work with local high school and college teams to provide sideline
medical coverage. His professional interests include arthroscopic
and minimally invasive surgery of shoulder and knee, including
ligament reconstruction of knee and shoulder and rotator cuff repair.
Dr. Foote is married and has four children. In his spare time,
he and his family enjoy snow skiing, water skiing, and other outdoor
activities. He is currently settled in Fruitland, ID and has family
locally in the Middleton and Marsing areas. Holy Rosary Medical
