Holy
Rosary Medical Center and its employees continually strive
to give their best to the people they serve, largely because
we are able to attract high-quality people to our organization
and because we are committed to working toward common goals.
We seek individuals who
are not only professionally and technically excellent,
compassionate and motivated, but who also understand and
support the Holy Rosary Mission and Value statements. These
statements give focus to our efforts, so everyone is working
toward a common goal.
Holy Rosary requires
additional training for registered nurses wishing to provide
care to patients in the Critical Care Unit. Holy Rosary
offers training to registered nurses who wish to become
Critical Care nurses, and pays for that training. If the
nurse stays with Holy Rosary for two years following the
end of the CCU training, the cost of the training will
be forgiven. If the nurse leaves Holy Rosary, or the CCU
before the two-year period ends, however, they will be
asked to pay a portion of the training costs. During the
training, the RN will be paid the prevailing wage for registered
nurses with their training and experience, as well as a
shift differential for any shift actually worked during
the training period. The amount of training necessary will
depend on the RN's previous training and experience.
